Our Story
SHAHKAAR is not merely a collection of forms and reports. It is a connected administrative ecosystem designed around the actual working environment of a university hall.
Bringing information scattered across registers, spreadsheets and separate files into one connected system.
Reducing repeated data entry and the time spent manually reconciling the same information.
Making monthly, session-wise and hall-wise reports accurate and readily available.
Providing authorized administrators with meaningful information when decisions need to be made.
A solution born within the system
SHAHKAAR did not begin with theoretical planning. It emerged from working with daily registers, student attendance, dining accounts, stock transactions, room allotment and reporting requirements—and recognizing that these processes could be connected and simplified through technology.
Software was not imposed on the workflow. The actual workflow and everyday challenges were studied first; the system was then architected around those requirements.

Early Institutional Appreciation
SHAHKAAR was presented as a live demonstration to Prof. Mohammad Athar Ansari, Dean Students' Welfare, AMU. He appreciated the software and the effort invested in shaping it from practical administrative experience.
He expressed that a system of this nature should have a place in the University, reflecting an important need of contemporary administration. His encouraging response strengthened the purpose behind SHAHKAAR and its relevance beyond a single working environment.

Formal Hall-Level Launch
Following the earlier demonstration and encouraging appreciation, SHAHKAAR was presented to Prof. Mohammad Gulrez and formally inaugurated at the hall level by him.
The occasion marked a defining point in the project's journey: an idea born from the daily administrative realities of Sir Ziauddin Hall had evolved into a formally launched digital system with wider institutional potential.

Manual and disconnected processes were identified through everyday administrative work.
Student, attendance, dining, stock, finance and accommodation records gained an organized structure.
A secure core platform was developed around users, roles, permissions, halls and academic sessions.
Attendance, dining, stock consumption, expenses and reporting were brought into one workflow.
Room allotment, waiting lists, fee ledgers, student services and multi-hall architecture were added.
The platform is being made scalable for wider institutional adoption.
